Welcome to the OFFICIAL, definative walkthrough guide for the Flash game The Gun Game. Play the game here.
Lets start off with some achievements and some hints on how to get them.
Reloader – Reload 100 times with any weapon during the course of game. Weapons will reload automatically when you run out of ammo.
Juggler - This one requires you to flip a gun 250 times. Just empty a USP or Walther PPK clip until you need to reload and you’ll see a snazzy reload function featuring said flippage of gun.
Target Hater – ALl you need to do is destroy 500 targets. This could be in any mode, but it’s best to run up the figures quickly and effeciently in the ‘Defense’ campaign mode.
Do Not Press – Just press 200 of the button like ‘Campaign’, ‘Achieves’ and so on, then once you return to the achievement list after exiting warm up you should have this achievement unlocked.
Gun Newbie / Nut / Addict – Play for 4 hours to unlock all three of these achievements. Make sure you’re in warm up mode or any other shooting mode for this to count.
The rest of the achievements just require you shoot X amount of bullets and get all the expert medals in the Accuracy, Speed and Skill modes.
Deagle Skill Challenge on Expert - Some people seem to have trouble with this. Just press R to restart and shoot the box whilst it’s in mid air at the top and it should fall nicely in place between the two lines of crates. It might take you a while to get perfectly right but it’s really not that difficult.
M1A Rifle Skill Challenge on Expert – Come on! If you need help with this, you clearly aren’t thinking about it! The skill challenge is, at it’s core, the most puzzle-like element of The Gun Game. We made bullets deflect off of the wall for a reason! Fire two bullets just above the box with about a 2 second gap in between and watch the momentum of your green target box tumble satisfyingly down the crates and onto your platform! Easy!
‘Impossible’ Speed Challenges – Alot of players who can’t complete some of the speed challenges in expert time are touting the activity as ‘impossible’. This simply isn’t true, and nothing in the game is impossible. You just need to fire economically. Start at the top, and work your way down without pausing for breathe. Make sure you hit every target on the way down and you should easily complete the stage in time. Leaving two or three targets and coming back to them makes it highly unlikely that you will complete the stage in expert time.
General Tips – Remember that guns have recoil. If you hold the trigger on the MP5 for example, the barrel of the gun will gradually point skywards. Use this to your advantage whilst in speed challenges and judge your angles correctly to wipe out all the targets needed in record time.
Maybe try unlocking some of the goodies before taking on challenges that you feel are tough? Such as Kar98k Beast Mode where you will complete the campaign mode with ease. What is Kar98k Beast Mode? In three words…one shot kills.

Hey, chaz i love your game but there are some little think i would like to ask you, for example the Kar98k is impossible to complete in speed challenge, I’ve made that a lot of times but the reloading is to slow and how can i unlock the luger and the 2 last SMGs, do i need to complete the SPAS 12 challenge or what because i cant complete neither the novice challenge cause 3 weapons aren’t jet unlocked please tell me….
usp skill challenge, the green platform is below the metal, how the heck do you do that?
@ Albanez, the Kar98 speed challenge is easily possible. Please make sure you play the version that is on FlashChaz.com or Newgrounds.com as these have the latest bug fixes and other sites may not have them which would be preventing you from completing it succesfully. To unlock the Luger and the two last SMGs, just highlight the gun in the weaopns panel and it will popup with a small message telling you what is needed to be done to unlock them.
@ howard, Shoot the box on the bottom of the first stack twice quickly, then pop the green box near the top and it will fly away from the pack and land on the green platform.

I can’t seem to beat the luger skill challenge wherever I shoot the box just rolls off the platform
@ Johnybyz I just done the Luger skill challenge…Keep practicing and make sure you go for the second box down of the first row. Shooting this at the right place will make the box come away from the first row and knock into your green target box with just enough force to roll it gently onto the free space on the green platform.
how do u do the M1A rifle skill challenge?

I’ve gotten 4 sec on the USP speed challenge like 10 or 12 times now… It still gives me ‘veteran’ every time. What gives?
Hey, I have a 2-part question:
1. How do I beat the Desert Eagle Skill Challenge? I can’t ever get the green block to move properly.
2. How is it possible to earn 57 medals when there aren’t 57 guns?
Okay, disregard the first part of my last post.
I would like to know how it’s possible to get under four seconds on the USP Speed challenge? And also how it’s possible to earn 57 medals.
How does one do the Micro Uzi Speed Challenge? There are 25 targets and only 22 bullets. I have the Gold for all other SMGs and i need this to unlock the last SMG.
I have the same questions of Triple M…it’s impossible to fire the Uzi’s whole clip(22 bullets) and reload it in less than 6 seconds (at least in my computer)… The expert time is 5 seconds…

Hey how do you get expert on the speed challenge for both shotguns and the Uzi?
Just forget what I said before… shut down some applications that can be slowing your PC and follow the tips above and it becomes possible…
The ppk skill challenge is the only challenge I havn’t gotten expert on. I’m pretty sure the sequence to do it is bounce the first shot off the back and hit the green then quickly pop the bottom boxes twice. I was able to do this with 4 shots but I can’t do it with 3 and so I’m not sure if that is the right sequence.
Also there are only 54 challenges possible but the achievements say 57. Is there some secret gun in this game that isn’t advertised?
I completed the game in just over 3 hours (not including the 4 hour achievement, but I have that now aswell), is there no reward for completing the game?

I love your game and I am playing it on Armorgames.com. So far, I have completed everything(campaign, challenges and achievements) but the Kar98 speed challenge and the Spas12 speed challenge. I have offically concluded getting a time of 4 and 2 seconds, respectively, is IMPOSSIBLE! You mentioned an upgraded version on your site. Have you upgraded the version on Armorgames?

I’m playing the game on your site, but I’m still having issues with the Kar98k cocking time, it takes so long! I’ve been working forever on the speed challenge and am consitently getting 6s and 7s.
I just did the Kar 98K speed challenge on the first try, why does everyone say it’s impossible, just smoothly work your way up from the bottom. Great Game Chaz.
Hey I have the same question as both aaaaaargh and Veggieman. I have been trying for three weeks is there any other tips on how to achieve the USP speed challenge. I keep getting 4 soconds and i have almost got it but every time it reloads the spin is slow and that last second just ticks away

USP- Easy if you can fire really fast, if not download auto hot keys and in the guide there will be an example that clicks really fast if you hold down f1- I only use this to spped up getting the things like beast mode if i can’t be bothered. Weight down f1.
Uzi- is easy just start at the top and work your way down. Any misses take out targets lower down which helps. If your still struggling use auto hot keys as it speeds up your shooting-
Kark- is easy just don’t miss. Again it appears to be faster using auto hot keys
How the Heck can you do the SMG-PK2 Skill challenge? I have no
idea how this should work. I really need the tip, I still have
to unlock the P90.
Does any1 kno what it means when it says beside your unlocked achieves i.e. with the expert achieve”2 weapon damage’?
Ok looks like the armorgames version got fixed? Except the Kar98 is still impossible to get 4 seconds. I’ve done all the other challenges. The SPAS was the one that was impossible yesterday but now it is fixed.

What the heck man. I read how so people have said to beat the SMG-PK2 and they just dont work. How the heck do u do it?? shoot the bottom two real quick then shoot the green one, doesnt work!!

I finally finished the game after 4 hrs and 40 minutes of it its soooo fun!
i have completed famas and kar98k challenges(all of them expert) and its easy, for speed challenges start at the bottom and the recoil will push the barrel up to help aim at the next, it’s not impossible, just keep trying
how the hell do you beat the ussp challenge
the game is nice but it needs a reload button, many new guns, nicer graphics, better sounds, other enemies besides the targets, maybe a story mode where you earn money to buy weapons, some explosives and rocket launchers maybe, some music, more challenges, better warm up mode, more achievements, zombie mode, murder/assassinate mode, melee weapons, more challenging campaign, difficulty settings(easy, medium, hard)…etc.
i like the first already but it needs improvements.
please try to put these suggestions into the second game.
The biggest tip I can offer is to not be using ANYTHING else that takes up bandwidth on your internet. It makes the difference between being able to complete something in 4 seconds and something in 3 seconds, trust me. I was always getting 4 seconds with the M1A. Then I realized I had Pandora running so I paused the music. After pausing it I got the required 3 seconds the first try. This should solve most problems.

Hi, sorry about the late reply. You need to shoot two bullets off of the wall just above the green box so they bounce back and knock it over and it rolls.
Hey Chaz, the micro Uzi speed challenge is impossible. As with the last few comments on it, 3 targets will be left and by the time you finished reloading, the time would’ve entered 6 secs, making it IMPOSSIBLE to get it under 5 seconds. (Most people who played the game told me that when I asked.)
Btw, that’s the only challenge which I have yet to get Expert on, which is needed to unlock that P90 as well.
Thanks for your comment Mr A, however as i keep saying – nothing in the game is impossible. Some parts are harder than others, but I’ve completed the game myself and gone through it 100% and achieved everything available so just keep trying! =)
Great game! I just wanna say, I personally have gotten all achievements, therefore I have confirmed no challenge ect is impossible. If the challenge is too hard, take a break!
