Captain Crash MochiBot Figures
I’ve decided to start providing MochiBot figures for any new major releases from FlashChaz.com, for the purpose of analysis discussion. It’s worth mentioning that in the case of Captain Crash it took over a month to release publically after installing the actual MochiBot tracking code, so feel free to chop about a month off of the ‘In The Wild’ part.

It would seem that game started off initally well, and spread as it garnered more attention. It seems that in the short time since it was released, the game has done fairly well. I certainly don’t know of any other distributable media outside of television or radio that could could reach such a wide, targeted audience in such little time.
What we can see from the chart is that the game took exactly one week to start seeing major views, with an instant increase from 11,216 daily hits to just under 30,000. The game peaked around that mark for about 3 days before seeing a relatively steep come down where it fluctuates these days around the 10,000 – 20,000 daily hits, depending on the day of the week.
The game is most popular at around 10am and on weekends, mainly Saturday, although I’m unsure of the time zone MochiBot goes by. It’s interesting to go through the stats and I’ll be checking up on them once in a while. I look forward to posting the results of the next game ready for release, called aplty, ‘The Gun Game‘. Where did you distribute it to?
I only submitted it on Newgrounds and it was on ArcadeBomb.com too. From there it was self perpetuated distribution, no Mochi, no FGD or anything, so we still have all those options still open to us should we wish to do so.
